Our Pastor
Rev. J. Kingsley Thavaraj Chairman and Pastor, TELC Pavanasar Lutheran Church Rev. J. Kingsley Thavaraj is a devoted servant of God, known for his unwavering faith, pastoral wisdom, and deep commitment to proclaiming the Word of God. He graduated from The Tamilnadu Theological Seminary(TTS), Madurai and has faithfully ministered across several pastorates in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, guiding congregations with humility, grace, and vision. From 2016 to 2019.
Rev. J. Kingsley Thavaraj served as Pastor-in-Charge of the Pattukottai Pastorate, overseeing three congregations and nurturing their spiritual growth. From 2019 to 2022, he led the Andimadam Pastorate as Pastor and Chairman, serving four congregations and fostering unity, fellowship, and church development. In 2022, he continued his ministry in Karnataka as Assistant Pastor-in-Charge of the Bangalore Pastorate, ministering to two congregations with dedication and care. In 2023, Rev. J. Kingsley Thavaraj was appointed Chairman and Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, KGF, where his leadership and pastoral care strengthened the life of the church. He continued to serve as Chairman of Zion Lutheran Church, KGF from the year 2023 to 2025, and then took over as Chairman and Pastor of TELC Pavanasar Lutheran Church, Bangalore, leading the congregation with prayerful guidance and a heart devoted to Christ.
Throughout his ministry, Rev. J. Kingsley Thavaraj has been deeply driven by a vision to impart the knowledge of God’s Word, to nurture believers in faith and service, and to build the Church as a vibrant, Christ-centered community. His life and leadership continue to inspire many to grow in spiritual maturity and to live out the love of Christ in word and deed.
